Which do you think is better? Why? Which place do you go to more often?

I go to them both.

Perhaps I'm missing something, did a Google on this myTelespace service, and their page has no info on what it is. I mean, is this a sort of mySpace for the telephone? And why? It got me wondering about exactly what one even does with Zone by Phone. Unless I'm just being dense, I can't figure out what purpose it serves. Do these transcribe spoken text into board posts / quick notes or something? Neat concept if true, and goes a long way towards what a lot of people think of as the "Star Trek computer," I guess. I know there's a service called Twitterphone or something that does voice-to-text conversion so you post tweets via dictation.
Are some of your board posts actually coming through the phone? You know we edit so much when we type, how do you do that when dictating? Dictation Software for the PC tends to have a lot of macros and extensions to allow the user to correct and edit on the fly.
That may explain some of the spelling and spacing errors found on some boards. Anyway I was surprised at how little a Google search on myTelespace turned up.
The most exposure I've had to this is via a Virtual Secretary that could read out emails - before wi fi! - and was artificially intelligent in many ways.
Be curious what the geeks around here think of the two services / how they work ...

Perhaps I'm just ignorant and most everyone else here knows, but could someone write up what these services are and do? I wouldn't ask except I did a Google search first ... I know ... RTFM <g>
Thanks

No clue what rtfm <g> is but I've heard that Mytelespace is basically like a blind hotline where people can chat and make friends etc. Basically, you call in like on Zone by Phone and you have a profile etc. But I've heard there's alot of drama over there, choosing favourites etc, so I'm not sure how good of a place it is. Still, I've never tried it so can't say for sure.

Ah so not a Speech-to-web type software then. I wouldn't use it as I've a PC and a PDA but older relatives not yet into email or going online might.

No, you call in & talk to people at ZBP.
However, I've never heard of my tele space either. This is interesting.
